We think we know what we "should" be doing, but sometimes what we do never seems like enough. But if we're always down on ourselves for not accomplishing everything we want, then we miss feeling good about ourselves for what we have accomplished. As a result of negative inner-dialogue, our performance doesn't have the star-quality confidence we were hoping to exude.
It's no wonder many of us have a hard time receiving a compliment. Worse than that, about 90% of singers don't take time to celebrate their victories, nor do they have an accurate perception of their voice.
