ABOUT DOT

Dot Todman is a Los Angeles-based Vocal Empowerment Coach known for her holistic approach. She began teaching music at the age of 14, earned triple degrees in Theatre Arts Education, Psychology and Music.
Her inspiring musical gift led to winning songwriting competitions, directing musical groups, performing in award-winning jazz quintets and touring musical groups, teaching Music, Drama and Choir in High Schools and directing regional choirs in Classical and Contemporary Music and performing in concerts of her own. She also gained experience as a studio singer, singing backup for NBC TV commercials, albums, animated children’s films and even lead for Jeff Goldblum's "The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra" Jazz Band. In 1995 Dot was signed to Vagabond Productions (the Grammy award-winning Arrested Development’s label) and released a spiritual album of her own, entitled “Songs of the Soul.”
After surviving a debilitating surgery in 2007, Dot committed to a path of self-healing by applying chakra awareness along with mental discipline, positive thinking and daily breathing exercises. This experience helped her create C.O.R.E Vocal Power®, the revolutionary method that allows anyone to build their vocal power and confidence. The powerful program has helps singers, actors, public speakers and entrepreneurs fall in love with their voices and perform far beyond their own expectations.
Dot has been featured on NBC, MTV, KTLA5, TV Guide, KPFK Radio, Idol Chat and Talk LA Radio. Her clients have worked with Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Ellen Degeneres, Sony, Universal Records, American Idol, the Voice, Jimmy Kimmel Live, House of Blues, Hollywood Bowl and the list goes on.
